Specifications include, but are not limited to: Intended Source shall provide the following: Client Service Expectations: Documenting medication delivery on medication monitoring sheets (MMS), as well as refusals. Initiating crisis intervention protocols when situations arise. General/Policy Expectations: 1. Inspect service delivery and provide any additional technology (phone/computer/etc.) and supplies that are necessary to adequately operate the program. 2. Establish Quality Assurance Protocols to identify a means of periodic review and enhancement of services. Staffing Expectations: 1. Conduct criminal (including fingerprinting), child protective services, and driver’s license background checks on individuals applying to work with medication program to avoid hiring individuals inappropriate to provide care to vulnerable clientele. 2. Designate a credentialed staff member as “lead worker” with the added responsibilities to assure adherence to established policies and procedures. All credentialed staff may be required to attend mandatory training provided by State with the expectation that Intended Source’s staff attending will train other staff.
