Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Concrete and Steel reinforcement shall conform to ASTM specification except that the circumferential reinforcement in all vertical walls, shall consist of lines of steel wire spaced 3" horizontally with #6 wire and spaced 8" vertically with #10 wire located in center of the wall. There shall be City of Milwaukee Specification No. 30-A-5 December 18, 2006 Page 3 of 4 two (2) cages of each wire for manholes with an inside diameter of 5'-0" or 6'-0" and one (1) cage for manholes with an inside diameter of 4'0". "Doghouse" type manholes (Diagram 103C and 103A) shall also have a #6 rebar hoop located 3" above the window openings and centered in the wall. E. LIFTING INSERTS: Two (2) lifting inserts for 1-1/2" dia. lifting eyes shall be cast in the wall of the base and all other riser sections except the top cap section. F. LIFTING CHAINS: Six (6) sets of lifting chains with hooks/pins shall be provided with the contract. G. PULL-IN IRONS: Four (4) 7/8" dia. 1-11/16" x 11" galv. steel pull-in eye shall be cast in the wall of the base s e c t i o n . H. CABLE RACK BOLT INSERTS: Four (4) 5/8" plastic threaded cable rack bolt inserts shall be cast in the wall of the riser s e c t i o n .
