Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Town is seeking consulting services for a “Funded Projects Management Specialist” to conduct as needed, fiscal grant management and regulatory compliance for Federal and State funded projects with funding originating from but not limited to USEPA, HUD, USDOI, USFWS, RIDEM and RIDOT in accordance with state and federal laws, rules, regulations, policies, and guidance. 2. The successful bidder (the “Consultant”) shall coordinate with Town staff currently implementing outside funded projects to assist with and/or manage fiscal aspects and regulatory compliance with ongoing and future funded projects, 3. The Consultant shall assist with developing budgeting, tracking grant expenditures (grant fiscal, grant match and in-kind services) and will interface with the Town Finance department and other staff and lending agencies to implement reimbursement claims or acquisition and management of lump sum grant funds, 4. The consultant shall coordinate with the Town Finance department to implement grant fiscal management including budgetary tracking, invoicing, payments, and reimbursements and interface as such with the Town Finance department, staff project managers/principal investigators, and other project partners, 5. The consultant shall demonstrate the ability to identify and apply for additional funding opportunities to complement existing funded projects and new projects to further benefit the town, 6. The consultant shall assist town staff grant writers as needed.
