Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Wisconsin (State), Department of Administration (DOA), through its Consolidated Agency Purchasing Services (CAPS), on behalf of the Division of Facility Development (DFD), requests Bids for the purchase of annual boiler testing and tune-ups along with ASME CSD-1 and NFPA 85 control and safety device testing for boilers at State operated central heating plants and intends to use the results of this process to award a Contract. Contractor must test all burner safety and limit switches to include, but not be limited to: • Low and high gas pressure • Low water • Low low water (Low water cut out) • High pressure / temperature switches • Fuel valve proof of closure • Flame scanners • Air flow switches • Any other burner system related safety device • Bubble or leak test all fuel safety shut off valves and provide documentation stating whether the fuel safety valves give 100% shut-off.
