Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pursuant to House Concurrent Resolution No. 69, the purpose of this RFI is to solicit agencies who may have information regarding the impact of Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias on Delawareans, in order to develop a report with the following information in the future: Trends in the state’s ADRD populations and service needs including: • Availability and cost of services, resources for those living in historically underserved areas, rural areas, nonwhite communities, and those defined by federal poverty guidelines. • The average amount of Alzheimer’s diagnoses and mortality rate of Alzheimer’s in nonwhite communities. • The state’s role in providing assistance to those with early-stage or early-onset ADRD. • The state’s policies regarding individuals with ADRD. • Current cost of ADRD on publicly funded health care programs. Existing resources, services, and capacity relating to the care of individuals diagnosed with ADRD including: • Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), including respite care, for individuals diagnosed with ADRD and their families, caregivers, or guardians. • Number and availability of long-term care dementia units or providers. • Resources, services, and capacity of geriatric psychiatric units for individual with behavioral disorders associated with ADRD. • Assisted living options for individuals diagnosed with ADRD. • State-supported ADRD research conducted at universities in Delaware.
