Specifications include, but are not limited to: In order to best support SFAs in achieving their program goals, RIDE is seeking to engage consultants/agencies with a variety of high-level skills and expertise so that SFAs may enter into local level Agreements with the selected vendor(s) to support one or more of the areas outlined within the scope of work section. Vendors may be asked to provide services in the following areas: 1. general nutrition program growth/assessment of operations, 2. Farm to School program planning and implementation, 3. planning for kitchen/cafeteria renovations or new construction, 4. handling food waste and increasing sustainability of operations, 5. community outreach related to increasing awareness of and participation in the Federally funded CNPs and 6. culinary training for food service staff. RIDE may make multiple awards depending on the areas of expertise demonstrated by each vendor but only one award will be made in each of the 6 activity areas listed above and detailed within the scope of work.
