Specifications include, but are not limited to: • AREA 1 PARKING LOT REHABILITATION – Mill and remove designated 3,300 ft2 area of the existing asphalt in the parking lot area, haul existing asphalt to recycling facility, prepare subgrade, and replace parking lot with a new asphalt “Parking Lot Rehabilitation System” described below. • AREA 2 – PARKING LOT 1.5-INCH OVERLAY – Prepare existing asphalt surface for new overlay, apply tack coat bonding agent and an asphalt leveling course to even ruts and promote site drainage prior to placing overlay. Provide 1.5 inch overlay on the entire parking lot. Parking area surfaces shall have a minimum slope of 2 percent (1/4 inch per foot) toward natural runoff areas. Restripe parking lot markings according to MUTCD standards found here: https://mutcd.fhwa.dot.gov/htm/2009/part3/part3b.htm#section3B19 . • AREA 3 – ENTRANCE ROAD OVERLAY 2-INCH – Prepare existing asphalt surface for new overlay. This area is move damaged then remainder of entrance road. Mill to remove cracking and rutting and provide at least a 1” compacted leveling course in AREA 3. Provide 2 inch overlay on the entire area and provide a smooth transition with adjacent roadways.
