Specifications include, but are not limited to: Milwaukee County, through the department of Park, Recreation and Culture ("Parks") is soliciting proposals for partnerships to provide daily supervised programming at the Kosciuszko Community Center and/or the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center. As a cultural hub to the community, we are searching for non-profit or community service-based organizations to provide members of the Centers with daily youth development, enrichment, social, athletic and recreational programming. The Proposer will provide daily supervised drop-in youth programming at the Kosciuszko Community Center, 2201 South 7th Street, Milwaukee, and/or the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 1531 W. Vliet Street, Milwaukee. Programming should be aimed at persons ages seven (7) to seventeen (17); programming may be aimed at persons within a subset of that age range (e.g., youth, pre-teen, or teen). Programming will occur from Monday through Friday during the academic year, ideally 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Central Time. Additional programming with consideration for summer and/or weekend hours can be negotiated. Programs can include daily youth development, enrichment, social, athletic and recreational programming. Programs should be free or no cost to Community Center members and at no cost to the County.
