Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Henry Barnard School (HBS) building is located on RIC’s campus. Constructed in 1958, the building and green play areas are in the heart of RIC’s campus. The building is located adjacent to Horace Mann Hall, the campus’ newest building which houses the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development. The building will be leased AS IS, as it sustained storm damage resulting in damage to HVAC and physical spaces which will impact the building’s readiness. The building is also in need of a number of upgrades (see attached facilities condition assessment). The building is currently suited for elementary instruction and will necessitate significant alterations to meet middle and secondary school facility requirements.
