Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Division of Care and Treatment Services is accepting applications for the next round of the NARCAN® Direct Program. This program provides NARCAN®, the opioid overdose reversal drug, at no cost to select community agencies for free distribution to people at-risk for an opioid overdose and people who may witness an opioid overdose. The people receiving the NARCAN® must attend a training session focused on how to identify an opioid overdose and how to administer NARCAN® before they receive the drug. Eligible agencies The following agencies are eligible to apply to participate in this call for applications for the NARCAN® Direct Program: County human services departments (or their designee) County or municipal public health departments (or their designee) Tribal health clinics (or their designee) Syringe service programs Recovery community organizations (independent, nonprofit organizations led and governed by people in recovery and their family members) Opioid treatment programs (programs certified under Wis. Admin. Code § DHS 75.59)
