Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District Maintenance & Fleet Division of the Vermont Agency of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as VTrans, is seeking contractors to assist in the winter maintenance services throughout Vermont. Services include laborers and equipment operators to perform numerous transportation related duties including but not limited to cutting brush and hauling brush, roadway patching, guardrail repair and maintenance, shoveling snow, cleaning trucks and garages, snow plowing, hauling snow and other materials, applying salt and or liquid deicing agents to roadway surfaces on plow routes designated by VTrans using assigned state equipment or the Contractor equipment (with attachments and operators as required) as needed by the VTrans and performing other maintenance work including clearance of waterways and culverts and other general winter maintenance activities as assigned.
