Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project scope is intended to correct seasonal freezing at existing downspout discharge points. The work will include but is not limited to: Modifications to existing canopy prefinished sheet metal gutters, including removal of existing downspout, fabrication of steel tubing and connection thereof to existing gutter discharge point, and related work to make the connection water-tight. Pre-finished sheet metal trim to fabricate and install (2) wall enclosures to conceal the tubing and core drill opening on the west face of the existing masonry, (2) enclosures where new downspout will transition to the steel tubing on the east face of existing masonry, and (2) open-faced downspouts; all field attached to existing brick masonry. Core drilling in (2) locations through existing grouted CMU structural, backing and brick veneer; and grouting open cores at each location. Removal of asphalt pavement and short sections of mountable curb and gutter. Installation of (2) in-line plastic body drains and HDPE piping, (2) field cored tee connections of in-line drain piping to existing HDPE piping, and backfill of the excavations with aggregate materials. New concrete pavement where asphalt was removed, replacement of curb and gutter. Re-stripe the parking areas at new concrete pavement. Traffic control to prevent entry into the work areas while maintaining traffic into and out of the canopy drop-off area. Clean up and demobilization.
