Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Townsend is installing a new irrigation system to serve the existing baseball field and multi-purpose field at the Townsend Municipal Park to be supplied by two existing irrigation wells on-site. The project includes installation of PVC water service pipes from the existing wells to the proposed irrigation systems, installation of associated water valves and fittings, and design and installation of irrigation systems for each of the existing baseball field and multi-purpose field. The scope of work is more fully described in the Project Specifications and on the Project Plans. The Town of Townsend received funding for this project through the Outdoor Recreation, Parks, and Trails (ORPT) Program administered by the Delaware Department of Natural Resources (DNREC).
