Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Remove existing roofing materials and replace as per the plans and specifications, provided by the DGS, Attachment 1, and Attachment 2 of the proposed Agreement. B. Repair and reinforce all pipes, vents, equipment, platforms, etc. throughout the roofing system. C. Properly reinforce all internal drains, as needed, to promote proper slope and drainage. D. Replace existing asphalt roofing material with three (3) tab asphalt-fiberglass shingles to include a high-quality leak barrier that will prevent damage caused by wind driven rain. New roofing materials must be able to withstand wind gusts of up to sixty (60) miles per hour. Roof shall be installed as to manufacturer’s guidelines and attached plans and specs. E. Work shall be conducted in a manner which is the least disruptive to the site occupants. F. Contractor shall keep the job site and premises clean, haul away all debris caused by the above work daily, and dispose of it offsite according to code and industry standard. G. All products and installation must meet American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) guidelines. H. The Contractor will guarantee all workmanship performed for a minimum of one (1) year from the date of installation and standard manufacturer warranty on all materials.
