Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The application will be designed to provide a positive passenger experience by being easy to use, provide useful airport information and to keep the passenger informed. 2. PVD’s previous app was discontinued in early 2023. Most airport information can be found on our mobile responsive website at www.flyri.com or www.parkpvdairport.com. Any additional information will be supplied at the request of the FIRM. 3. The app must contain the following features: a. Flight status. i. User should be able to enter their flight number and see real-time status of their departing/arriving flight. ii. Users should be able to scan a boarding pass, select a specific flight, or enter flight information and get real-time updates\alerts (“push” notifications) as flight information changes (time, gate or baggage claim) or at timed intervals (30 min before flight, upon landing/arrival, etc.). b. Flight destination weather. c. Display airport alerts/announcements on home screen. 5 d. Dynamic splash screen upon opening app that is capable of using high resolution photos and videos - controlled by RIAC. e. Airport terminal map with the following features: i. Location of airlines, gates, shops, food options, and amenities. ii. User location or Where Am I? iii. Directions or How Do I get to? f. Parking information including: i. Parking options. ii. Rates. iii. Parking map. iv. Payment methods. g. Display airport information including: i. Ground transportation including contact, general information and links to vendor sites where available. ii. Retail information including hours, location, description, contact information and links to vendor sites where available. iii. Food and Beverage information including hours, location, description, menus, contact information and links to vendor sites where available. iv. Airlines servicing PVD including contact information and links for Mobile Airline Check-in. v. Airport Amenity information including hours, location, description, contact information and links to vendor sites where available. h. Links to social media including Facebook and Twitter. i. Feedback form for Compliments or Complaints. j. Airport directions with integration to google maps. k. Newsletter signup. l. Airport News. m. Email address capture. n. Foreign languages (Spanish and Portuguese). o. What’s New section to highlight/market/promote airport services – controlled by RIAC. p. Link to or ability to display current weather at PVD. q. Career or job opportunities page or section. r. Monthly Metrics Dashboard and Reporting: i. Number of app downloads per platform. ii. Top features used within the application (20). iii.
