Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor must be a member in good standing of the PRCA. Contractor must either own or the able to subcontract at contractor’s expense for sufficient stock to accommodate Missoula Stampede performances. Contractor shall provide: Rodeo Labor: • Arena director • Rodeo secretary • Timers • Bull fighters • Pickup men • Arena personnel • Livestock handlers and caregivers; Equipment: • Electric eye • Rough stock event equipment (flanks, halters, etc.) • Timed event equipment (barriers, neck ropes, box pads, etc.); Rodeo Livestock: • Bareback riding (36) • Steer wrestling (100) • Team roping (100) • Saddle bronc (36) • Tie down (100) – No jerk down rule in effect • Bull riding (45) • Xtreme Bulls (40); Insurance: • Contractor will be required to maintain general liability insurance in the amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence and two million ($2,000,000) in the aggregate. Contractor will not be required to provide professional liability insurance. Other: • Industry leading livestock welfare, including transportation, handling, feeding and care in accordance with PRCA regulations, Missoula County staff and the on-site veterinarian. • Lodging accommodations for all rodeo livestock personnel. • Assist with recruiting contestants to ensure full sections, for each event, each performance. • Payment for PRCA judging fees. • Share marketing and social media assets for use by Missoula County staff. • Develop and distribute contestant day sheets and payout reports in a timely manner to all rodeo stakeholders. • Preference for exclusivity of contractor services and livestock for all dates of the Missoula Stampede. • Attend rodeo production meetings as determined by Missoula County staff. • Availability to Missoula Stampede partners, sponsors and media. • Year-round advice and consultation services regarding improving the Missoula Stampede and promoting the sport of rodeo.
