The project scope will involve the design, bid and construction for Wenona Cook Resident Hall Air Conditioning at the Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota, OSE # R0824--02X. The Wenona Cook Residence Hall currently does not have air conditioning. This project will be for the installation of a system to provide individually controlled air conditioning to approximately seventy-five residential rooms. An existing central chiller plant may serve this additional load depending on the chosen approach. Wenona Cook Residence Hall is a 125 year-old sandstone building which is the campus’ oldest building. Today the structure is used for student housing with single occupancy rooms for upper classmen.
