Specifications include, but are not limited to: The adoption of a comprehensive district & school platform for student data entry, documentation, and visualization. This system will encompass various crucial components, including behavior incident entry, advanced learner (e.g., talented and gifted) documentation, intervention documentation and progress monitoring data, and assessment administration. Our primary goal is to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of student data management, ultimately contributing to informed decision-making and improved student outcomes at the school and district levels. Our review committee may select a tool that meets the following needs. Behavior Incident Entry: The selected data system should facilitate the efficient recording and tracking of behavior incidents (i.e., commonly known as Office Discipline Referrals). It should allow for real-time entry of incident details, classification, involved parties, and related notes. Visualizations and reports should provide insights into behavioral trends to inform targeted interventions. Modifications and updates to the behavior incident entry system, in alignment with our district’s Behavior Education Plan, are a necessary requirement. Learner Profile Documentation: The selected tool will be our resource for Advanced Learner (e.g., Talented and Gifted) and other student profile documentation. It should serve as our primary record for these documents, providing a platform to record relevant information, progress, assessment data, and differentiation strategies. Clear visualization tools should enable educators to tailor instruction effectively to individual student needs. Other learner profile documents, such as attendance support plans and Kindergarten transition reports, will also be included. Intervention Documentation and Progress Monitoring Data: The selected tool will be our primary resource for collecting and organizing academic and behavioral intervention plans and progress monitoring data. It will house a collection of the evidence-based interventions determined by the District. The system should enable the recording of intervention plans, progress, procedures/fidelity requirements, attendance, and data-driven adjustments (e.g., phase changes/lines), along with evaluation tools for program effectiveness. Initial intervention setup, regrouping students in interventions, phase changes, and other updates to the cadence of the intervention should be smooth and easy to implement. Visual representations of intervention outcomes will aid educators in refining strategies for better student support. The selected system will afford us the ability to look at response to intervention data in aggregate (whole district), and disaggregated, specific groups, and individuals (inclusive of filtering for focus group data and responsiveness to intervention).
