Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County needs a qualified organization to provide adult crisis services at the Journey Home facility that will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year (24/7/365). Services should include recovery-focused, trauma-informed, crisis intervention and de-escalation care, including mental health and substance use crisis assessments (including suicidality), clinical observation and monitoring, support and education for self-management of psychiatric symptoms, medication administration and monitoring, and case coordination to follow-up and/or continued care, including hospitalization when indicated. The selected provider for the Journey Home is expected to work closely with other organizations that frequently interact with people in crisis, including, but not limited to, Mobile Crisis Response Teams (MCRT), law enforcement agencies, fire departments, Emergency Medical Services, and hospitals. Walk-ins must also be accepted.
