Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY: The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a warranty to cover all components furnished. The vendor shall agree to replace and install without charge within the warranty any defective parts or any parts not suitable for the service intended. All warranty work shall be picked up by the vendor within forty-eight (48) hours of notification by the City and delivered within forty-eight (48) hours of completion of repairs. In addition, all factory authorized recall work shall be picked up and delivered by the vendor at no cost to the City. The warranty period begins when each vehicle is placed into service by the City. The minimum warranty requirements are as follows: 1. BUMPER-TO-BUMPER: Minimum three (3) years, or 36,000 miles, 100% parts and labor on the entire vehicle, no deductibles, including twelve (12)-volt battery, with exceptions for tires, service adjustments and consumables. 2. POWER TRAIN: Minimum five (5) years, or 100,000miles, 100% parts and labor, no deductibles. 3. EMISSION SYSTEM: Minimum eight (8) years, or 80,000 miles on the powertrain control module, emission diagnostic device, and catalytic converter(s). 4. CORROSION: Minimum five (5) years, unlimited miles. 5. SAFETY RESTRAINT: Minimum five (5) years, 60,000 miles. B. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. TYPE: Pickup Truck, four (4) door crew cab, four (4)-wheel drive, with a minimum factory rated advertised capacity of 14,000 lbs. Products or materials that are made in the United States of America are preferred. Acceptable makes and models are listed below; any others shall be equal to or exceed them: Ford F350 Super Duty Crew Cab DRW Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Crew Cab DRW Ram 3500 Crew Cab DRW 2. CARGO BOX: Long Box, approximately eight (8) feet in length, to include factory-applied spray-in bedliner. 3. WHEELBASE: Standard as configured, not to exceed 176 inches. 4. POWERTRAIN: Gasoline engine, minimum 6.4-liter displacement, automatic transmission, standard as equipped for specified model configuration.
