Specifications include, but are not limited to: The new Baldwin Park Replacement Facility Project relocates the current facility to an approximately 6-acre lot located at the corner of the intersection of South Campus Drive and East Campus Drive in Pomona in Los Angeles County, California. (See the Vicinity Maps below.) The new facility shall be designed and built to meet or exceed the requirements of the Essential Services Buildings Seismic Safety Act of 1986 (ESBSSA). It will include an Area Office Building (approximately 36,743 nsf). In addition, the project will include an Auto Services Building (approximately 6,924 nsf), a Radio Vault Building (approximately 750 nsf), a Property Storage Building (approximately 1,000 nsf), a Vehicle Fueling Area (approximately 3,338 nsf), and a Waste/Recycle structure (approximately 1,260 nsf). The remaining facility will include a Radio Antennae Tower assembly (maximum 148 feet tall) and Generator Yard (approximately 4,710 nsf), other miscellaneous site improvements (approximately 34,575 nsf), and site parking (approximately 48,960 nsf). The remaining site area will consist of landscaping, fencing, and storm water management improvements. The completed Project shall meet or exceed the requirements set forth in the RFP and shall obtain a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™) Silver Certification or higher from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
