Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Scope of Work under this solicitation will include, but not necessarily be limited to the following goals and tasks. Specific goals of this Downtown Pawtucket & Neighborhood Streetscape Improvement Strategy include recommendations that: • Enhance mobility and access, improve the equity, safety, reliability, and sustainability of our mobility systems, reduce our reliance on automobiles, allow for more growth with priority given to biking and pedestrian flow. • Design a public signage plan that incorporates branding, street signage, and wayfinding, connecting transit center to riverfront, through the downtown. • Design private, street view signage that maintains the downtown “brand”, unifies commercial properties, is attractive, highly visible and unique to its micro environment. • Identify critical properties whose impacts are greater than their own footprint and a strategy for façade and site improvements and usage. • Identify ways art and culture can enhance the assets of the area, its spaces and places. • Develop strategies that celebrate existing businesses, food and beverage industry clusters and encourage a high quality of life that appeals to all ages, and both local and tourist populations
