Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will work with existing state agency personnel including but not limited to RIDE finance and RIDE data staff, to collect analyze, and understand the department’s business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for a request for proposal that will automate the current tasks to ensure accurate, transparent, and expeditious calculations. The BSA will: Provide an assessment of current processes and the feasibility of automation; Assist RIDE Finance with the development of the RFP for the application development; Provide technical assistance with bid reviews; Testing and implementation of new programs; Provide written documentation of new processes; The BSA is expected to complete tasks assigned by the finance office not listed above that are consistent with the role of a business systems analyst and supportive of the project described throughout. The preference is that the BSA will be available for in-person meetings on site with staff. There may be time lags between the requested steps. RIDE reserves the right to set an appropriate schedule that stays within budgeted parameters and allows the BSA to balance other competing needs.
