Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Utah Controlled Substance Database (CSD) has been using RxGov, a web-based application, through NIC since 2020 under a Statewide Contract PD1068. NIC is now a part of Tyler Technologies, a provider of integrated software and technology services to the public sector. NIC is exiting the private medical data industry and will be terminating their ownership and use of RxGov in December 2023. In 2023, Leap Orbit re-acquired the RxGov application, which it sold to NIC in 2018. With RxGov returning to Leap Orbit, it is critical for the CSD to maintain services with RxGov/Leap Orbit in order to be able to get pharmacy data into the database with minimal disruption.
