Specifications include, but are not limited to: Unarmed Security Personnel as needed | To perform the following duties: | >Detecting suspicious behavior | >Remain alert throughout duration of assigned shift | >Maintain a high visibility presence | >Immediately report security breaches to law enforcement | >Deterring vandalism, theft, or any other criminal behavior | >Help to maintain a safe campus community | >Patrol buildings, facilities, and perimeter of premises | >Report safety hazards | >Monitor alarm systems and video surveillance as needed | >Reliable and timely for requested shifts | >Maintain communication with the Department of Public Safety | >Cooperate with enforcement control of Public Safety | >Shifts will vary depending on needs of Public Safety | >Locations may include any of URI's four campuses: Kingston, Providence, Narragansett and West Greenwich. >Hourly rate must be included
