Specifications include, but are not limited to: MSU is seeking a Contractor to provide entertainment/stage rigging and spotlight services for concerts, shows, performances, and other large events held at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse (and other locations such as Bobcat Stadium & Shroyer Gym); including but not limited to riggers and spotlight operators. The term of the contract will be for three (3) years with an option to renew up to an additional four (4) years. Work will primarily include load in, pre-rigging, up rigging, down rigging, and spotlight operations for specific concerts, shows, performances, and other large events. Additionally, Contractor must be familiar with general venue audio and lighting practices. Frequency of work would be for 3 MSU sponsored events, 3-5 Broadway shows, and 5-10 other large events annually. A detailed breakdown of expected annual work is listed in 1.2.1. These figures are estimates to provide context and are not a guarantee of work or size of the staffing call. MSU will provide contractor specific event needs in a timely manner, including communication of requirements and expectations for each event. MSU will invite Contractor to pre-show/event meetings to be a part of the event planning process. Contractor will be required to provide staff who are adequately trained, properly dressed in working attire, and equipped with the correct safety equipment (vests, hard hats, etc.) for their role.
