Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work for MEP Professional Services (MEP Consultant) shall be to act as Milwaukee County’s MEP project designer and subject matter expert. For projects that fall within the scope of the RFQ, Milwaukee County may submit a service order request to the MEP Consultant for pricing. The specific scope of work and fee associated shall be negotiated on a project-by-project basis. After pricing is received and agreed upon, and the administrative award has been executed, the MEP Consultant shall plan, design, bid, and provide construction administration services through closeout of the project. The MEP Consultant shall be qualified to assess, plan, design, and provide construction oversite and administration, including but not limited to the following areas: • Assessments of MEP condition, capacity, and code-compliance of facilities & supplied services/equipment, by means of investigative inspection, testing, and analysis. • Recommendations for usability determinations such as repair, replacement, upgrade, and/or removal of specified MEP services. • Reporting of assessment, including but not limited to the following: status and deficiency reports, cost estimates, feasibility studies, life cycle reports, sustainability & energy impact reports, & any other assessment criteria. • Adherence to all applicable Federal, State, & Municipal Building Codes, Ordinances, Standards, & Permitting Requirements • Designs and construction documents for MEP systems typical of Milwaukee County facilities. • Municipal pool & splashpad MEP facilities • Mechanical Equipment and Facilities:
