Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall accept, without qualification, any abandoned vehicle received by the City, regardless of condition. The Contractor shall be required to dispose of all vehicles delivered. No vehicles shall ever be re-sold. If applicable, the Contractor shall process vehicles through mechanical or hydraulic reduction to a good quality usable scrap, which may be stockpiled at the option and discretion of the Contractor for marketing. The Contractor shall provide all necessary land, plant, equipment and facilities for the disposal of vehicles and/or the system to process, store and market scrap and dispose of waste residues generated. The Contractor or ultimate processor shall be permitted to employ any method or system for disposal and/or processing which will not cause degradation of the environment.
