Project includes, but is not limited to: · Site clearing, grubbing and razing of an existing two-story vacant department store physically connected to Uptown Janesville with an approximate footprint of 58,000 sf. · New exterior construction work includes landscaping, storm, water and sanitary sewer modifications, electrical service, gas service, paving, exterior lighting improvements, excavation, cast-in-place concrete and asphalt pavement. · The building's exterior construction includes precast concrete panels, long span steel trusses and metal deck, low slope EPDM roofing, concrete masonry wall cladding, metal panel wall cladding, cold formed steel stud back up wall construction, aluminum windows, overhead sectional doors and hollow metal doors and frames. · The building's interior construction includes precast concrete panels, concrete masonry partition walls, gypsum board, metal stud walls, wood doors, hollow metal doors and frames, finishes, casework, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and audio-visual components. · The building's interior specialty construction items include the construction of two regulation ice rinks including ice making systems and equipment, basketball / volleyball courts and equipment, scoreboards, bleachers, moveable divider walls, food service equipment and an elevator. The Base Bid shall be lump sum. A number of alternate bids are requested.
