Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Louisville Metro Department of Corrections is seeking a vendor contract to provide a remote, contact-free, FDA-approved, health monitoring technology solution for the monitoring of an incarcerated persons’ health who is housed in a solitary cell space in correctional facilities. This radar-based technology will not be in the form of a wearable device but will be a correctional-grade permanent fixture installed in the designated room/cell. LMDC seeks installation of 150 units. Units shall possess the ability to detect the presence of an individual in a single-cell and monitor that individual’s vital signs, such as resting heart rate and resting respiratory rate. The technology should include software with a dashboard that will allow correctional staff the ability to set customizable alert parameters and maintain 24/7 remote monitoring of an individual’s wellness. Technical Requirements - • Solution must comply with LMG cybersecurity standards including submission of a SOCII [or completed vendor security questionnaire in lieu of SOCII] • Solution must be HIPAA compliant • Vendor must provide a system architecture diagram with response • If applicable, Vendors must provide hardware/software requirements [e.g. servers, o/s, database, etc], including storage • Vendor must identify network communications methodology, including port/protocol • If local [not cloud hosted], Vendor must provide Operating System name and version o Windows based platforms are preferred; Linux is an acceptable alternative • Vendor should list all recommended and/or required third party software necessary to operate Application Software. Please include the manufacturer, version, and any hardware specifications. Address the following components: o Database Management System o Communications Protocol o Languages/Development Tools o Utility/Report Writer Programs o Administrative Tools o Other • Vendors should identify any assumptions regarding wireless communications (due to the construction of the facility, ‘dead spots’ are common).
