Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendors are expected to propose the broad selection of name brand and store brand products it can offer. The intent of this ITB is to provide the DDOC offender population with a variety of choices for each category of products. DDOC needs to ensure the safety and security within correctional facilities to include all products offered to the offender population through the facility commissary. To be considered for award, Vendors may bid on one or more categories and may choose to offer additional product categories. Product categories includes, but not limited to: Category 1 - Health & Personal Care – Oral care, Bath & Body, Hair care, Shaving, Deodorants, Feminine hygiene, Health care, Gloves, etc. Category 2 - Linens – Mattress covers, Sheets, Pillowcases, Blankets, Bedspreads, Towels, Washcloths, etc. Category 3 - Clothing – Undergarments, Socks, Pajamas, etc. Category 4 - Footwear – Slippers, Flip flops, Sneakers, etc. Category 5 – Personal Electronics/Appliance (small) – Radios, TV’s, Headphones, Game Consoles, Microwaves, Toasters, etc. Category 6 - Games & Puzzles – Playing Cards, Crossword, Boardgames, etc. Category 7 - Food & Snacks – Cookies, Crackers, Instant Cup Soups, Candy, Chips, Nuts, Ice Cream, etc.
