We plan to purchase this coating machine to replace the existing manual tool for making the electrode coating. This upgrade will significantly improve the quality of the cells. Our sponsor, the Department of Energy requests UND to build the capability to fulfil our commitment defined in our funded projects. Requirements: Suitable for Lab-scale thin film coating for making 18650 cylindrical cell and 60mm*80mm pouch cells. The coating width is adjustable and the minimal width should be no less than 100 mm. The coating length must be greater than 1000mm. The coating precision must be less than 3 microns. The coating head must include either Micro-gravure or Slot die. Power supply must be ~110V or ~220, 50/60Hz The minimal workable slurry volume must be less than 500 mL. The heater length must be not less than 500mm. The machine must be mounted on the wheels. Door-to-door shipping must be included.
