Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work to be performed under the specifications herein shall consist of furnishing all material, labor, supervision, tools, supplies, and any other items or expenses necessary to provide comprehensive full maintenance services, repairs, and monitoring of every description, including, but not limited to, adjustments, replacement of parts, batteries, or components, testing and inspections of audio and visual signals as specified by New Castle County and in accordance with State of Delaware Fire Marshall regulations for fire alarm detection signaling systems unless otherwise stated. If any FM200 would release as a result of the vendor’s negligence, the vendor shall bear the cost of gas replacement. New Castle County will bear the cost if any FM200 is released due to an actual event. Vendor shall quote annual costs to provide full-service maintenance and repair, and monitoring services for each location listed below for New Castle County. Prices must include system monitoring, parts and labor, semi-annual inspections, and quarterly signal tests. Audible signal tests will be conducted off hours scheduled with Building Maintenance personnel to minimize disruption to building occupants. The vendor shall be responsible for coordinating with manufacturers of equipment for proper interfacing, replacement parts, and maintenance required having fully operational systems during the life of the contract. The vendor shall correct any faults that may be found in testing and inspections of equipment in order to bring the system into compliance. These repairs shall be done in accordance with the time frame stipulated by the State Fire Marshall’s Office. Vendor shall inspect the entire system early in June of the contract year and provide written verification that all systems are in a fully operational capacity, with no need for any repairs, as of June 30 of each contract year.
