Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University is seeking proposals suggesting the best method to complete the following tasks: 1. To repair and reinforce the water-damaged steel structural framing members that support the UK Medical Center (UKMC) cooling tower. 2. To thoroughly clean the steel structure to remove any dust, debris, loose paint, rust, scale, or any other type of corrosion required to properly prepare the metal for paint. 3. To paint the steel framing with an epoxy urethane primer and topcoat to manufacturer’s specification that is expected to last for at least ten years in the regular weather environment and matches the existing ‘Kentucky Blue’ color (PMS 286C and as specified on Attachment B).
