New controller, must be non-proprietary and able to be maintained by groups other than the manufacturer. 4. Solid State Starter a. New starter compatible with existing system and new components. 5. Floor position device and limit switch a. Floor position device and limit switches as required for cab. b. Sensors to be compatible with existing floor elements and elevations. 6. Hoistway a. Hoistway door rollers b. Hoistway door closers 7. Door interlocks, minimum 2 levels of redundancy a. Provide contacts and pickup rollers 8. Door restrictors 9. Door gibs. a. Provide at each door/opening. 10. Escutcheon locks. a. Coordinate lock/key type with local AHJ and Owner. 11. Traveling cable between car and controller. 12. Hoistway wiring. a. Comply with NFPA 70. 13. Top of Car Inspection Station. a. Provide non-proprietary unit compatible with controller and systems. 14. Cab emergency exit a. Comply with applicable state and national code. 15. Signal Fixtures a. Hall call stations – surface mount is acceptable (sized accordingly). 1) Appendix O Sign – engraved in hall stations 2) Communication failure device – incorporate in main hall station. 3) Position indicator in hall stations. b. Replace ceiling with new LED light fixtures and translucent panels. 23. Pit equipment and buffers a. Clean existing equipment and touch-up or repaint as required. b. New pit stop switch. 24. Key Switches a. Provide Best core locks at both car and hall. b. Provide Card reader capabilities
