Specifications include, but are not limited to: Replace Three (3) 120 Gallon Commercial Grade Gas Water Heaters and install Two (2) 600 Gallon Commercial Grade Gas Water Heaters and install One (1) 120 Gallon Commercial Grade Gas Water Heaters, to their original build in 2010 and specifications for the Kenton County Detention Center. 1. Disconnect power and control wiring 2. Disconnect gas lines, water lines, combusting air piping and flue piping 3. Demo and remove the existing three water heaters 4. Extend concrete pads to fit new water heaters 5. New Piping shall be run concealed when possible. Coordinate with General Contractor for cutting and patching of location of piping. 6. Cap any abandoned conduit and piping. 7. When fixtures requiring plumbing connections are furnished or are relocated, contractor shall furnish and install carriers, “P” trap and stops and make final plumbing connections at new locations. 8. All piping shown shall be new piping. 9. Do not route any new water supply piping above electrical panels. 10. Minimum size of new underground sanitary pipe shall be 2”. 11. Install trap primers, per specifications, on all floor drains except those serving showers. 12. Install lockable, flush mounted metal access panels where shut-off valves or other accessories that will need maintenance that are installed in inaccessible locations. 13. Install wall hydrants and hose bibbs 18” above grade or finished floor, unless otherwise noted. 14. See the water supply isometric for locations of shut-off valves, check valves, solenoid valves and other accessories. 15. Seismic restraints and hangers are required on all plumbing systems. Refer to specifications section 15071. 16. Kentucky Department of Corrections Standard shall be followed unless otherwise noted. 17. Refer to the security wall type plan G-102 for re-inforcing requirements within masonry walls. 18. Connect power and control wiring 19. Start systems and check operations
