Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Department of Mental Health (DMH, hereinafter the “State”) is seeking to establish contracts with one or more companies that can provide: 2.1.1. 24/7 Helpline Services. Problem Gambling Helpline available to answer calls and chats from Vermonters 24/7, offering real-time support and referral options. Provide meaningful data reports and conduct evaluations of customer satisfaction. 2.1.2. Media Campaign. Develop and launch digital, print, radio, and video media campaigns to promote responsible gaming and problem gambling resources. 2.1.3. Coordinate Voluntary Self-Exclusion (VSE) to Ensure Therapeutic Response. The Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery will manage the self-exclusion enrollment; however, the Department of Mental Health needs to ensure there is coordination for those enrolled to receive therapeutic options for support. A coordinated process needs to be developed to connect VSE enrollees who do not opt out of follow-up to receive education and referral options. 2.1.4. Establish and Maintain and Problem Gambling Provider Network. Recruit, build capacity, and maintain records for a statewide team of clinicians to treat people with gambling-related problems.
