Specifications include, but are not limited to: GENERAL: It is the intention of these specifications to describe minimum requirements for one (1), 4 post conventional lift. The 60,000 lb. minimum capacity heavy duty lift will handle large commercial, construction and mass transit vehicles. A conventional lift shall be a 4-post lift with each post working as a complete unit and hard-wired with a single control panel. A battery powered lift is not acceptable. It must be hard-wired to the building. The required voltage is 230V-480V. The lift vendor is responsible for electrical raceways and electrical connections to the lift or electrical panel. The agency has 3 phase electric on the lift now, which should meet the 240v-480v requirement. The approximate distance from the electric panel to the lift is 130 feet. There is electrical conduit (raceways) in place, but since this is a new lift, the agency suggests new conduit be installed as well. The vendor is responsible for compressed runs or plumbing to air to operate ALIcertified safety locks. There is currently compressed air in the lift bay. The approximate distance to its power source is 130 feet. LIFT: Lifting capacity: 60,000 lbs. minimum. Maximum wheelbase: 28’. Maximum rise height: 73”. Maximum overall length including all ramps: 38’. Maximum overall width: 17’ 1.25”. Speed of rise: Maximum 75 seconds OIL DRAIN PAN KIT: One (1) drain pan kit, with adjustable width. ROLLING JACK BEAMS: Two (2) rolling jack beams, capacity to meet requirements of lift. AIR HOSE KIT: One (1) internal air-line kit for dual rolling jack operation.
