Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Cast-in-place concrete work as follows: Grade beams, pile caps, footings, walls, piers, elevator pits/walls/slabs, columns, structure, slab on grade, pads, all concrete stairs and sub-base under stairs, & concrete in metal pan stairs. 2. All reinforcing steel for Trade Contractor’s work. 3. All excavation, backfill, and off-site disposal for this BC’s work. 4. All spoil materials are to be disposed of off-site. 5. All slab recesses. 6. All finishing of slabs as required, including sawcut control joints (To be per the flatness indicated). 7. All reinforcing steel and wire mesh, including all accessories & supports. 8. Any DBR’s for trade contractor’s work. Includes but not limited to where the grade beams tie to the pile caps. 9. Vapor barrier under SOG. 10. Installation of any embedded steel or misc. metal items (To be furnished by others). 11. Install any embeds necessary for decorative handrails (To be furnished by others if required). 12. Receipt and installation of any embeds for the exterior skin. 13. The structural slabs will be poured prior to the slab-on-grade being installed. All mudsills as necessary are included as required. Note that any necessary leveling as required at areas with a 2nd floor overhang with no slab-on-grade is to be included. 14. All waterstops & keyways. 15. Concrete wash-out pit installation and removal. 16. Setting of sleeves through concrete foundations for utilities. Openings will be 18” or less. 17. All brick ledge formwork as required. 18. Any temporary lighting as required for trade contractor’s work. 19. A previous bid package will be providing subgrade at the grade beneath the existing asphalt after it is demolished. This grade will be neatly graded out, flat (not level). This Bid category is to include all excavation, backfill, and off-site disposal as required from these elevations. It is this BC responsibility to backfill the building pad, with granular materials, after receiving grade from BC-06. 20. Stone backfill where indicated and specified is to be included. Furthermore, if granular backfill is required to maintain the schedule, then it is to be included as required. The gravel sub-base is to be included by this trade contractor. All fine grading of stone under slab. 21. Re-shores as required. Includes PE stamped engineered drawings. 22. Landing platforms. 23. Foundation as required for the tower crane foundation. Includes design and stamped engineered drawing for the tower crane foundation. It is to be designed and installed not to conflict with underground utilities or existing caissons. The foundation can remain in place (top of foundation to be at least 2’ below FFE). 24. All excavation, backfill, and off-site disposal as required for tower crane foundation. 25. All tower crane slab-on-grade and supported slab infills as required. Includes all formwork and shoring as required
