Specifications include, but are not limited to: Red Clay Consolidated School District is planning to utilize ERATE Category II funding to install up to a total of 11 CAT6a network drops at the Stanton School Campus. The district has predetermined the locations for the network drops. Indoor CAT6a cabling is to be green, and the vendor will need to provide one 10-foot white non-booted CAT6a patch cable for each drop. Some removal of old network drops will be required. Attending a walk-through of this project prior to submitting a bid is a requirement. The cabling vendor is responsible for the installation, termination, testing, and documentation of all cabling. Each cable must be labeled as per the Red Clay Technology Dept. instructions. Cabling test results must be submitted to the Red Clay technology dept before submitting the invoice for the project. The project is contingent upon receiving ERATE Category II funding for internal connections in the 2024 filing year. If ERATE Category II funding for internal connections is not granted, the project will not proceed, and all proposals will be denied. The purchase will occur after the District receives the award information concerning ERATE.
