Specifications include, but are not limited to: Red Clay Consolidated School District is planning to utilize ERATE Category II funding to upgrade the network cabling in four classrooms of Brandywine Springs School. The vendor will install two CAT6a network lines and up to 15 CAT6 network lines to specified locations within the rooms. This project will also include demo of the classroom's existing drops. Attending a walk-through is required for this project prior to submitting a bid. The vendor is responsible for the installation, termination, testing, and documentation. Each cable must be labeled as per the Red Clay Technology Dept. instructions. Cabling test results must be submitted to the Red Clay Technology Dept before submitting the invoice for the project. The project is contingent upon receiving ERATE Category II funding for internal connections in the 2024 filing year. If ERATE Category II funding for internal connections is not granted, the project will not proceed, and all proposals will be denied. The purchase will occur after the District receives the award information concerning ERATE.
