Specifications include, but are not limited to: Red Clay Consolidated School District is planning to utilize ERATE Category II funding to upgrade the network cabling in one section of Johnson Elementary. This school section includes multiple classrooms. The vendor will install forty-eight (48) yellow CAT6 data lines for the classroom drops and twelve (12)) green CAT6a data lines to the existing access points as well as any patch panels required. The vendor will also need to provide a quantity of twelve (12) ten foot white CAT6a patch cables (non-booted) to connect the existing access points to the new CAT6a drop. This project will also include removal of the classroom's existing drops, which include data, voice, coax, and fiber. Patch cables for the patch panels will NOT need to be provided by the vendor. Afterhour and/or weekend work may be required depending upon scheduling.
