Specifications include, but are not limited to: City of Dover aims to have vehicle location data, overlaid with other key municipal indicators, in a single pane of glass. The City of Dover has a robust municipal radio network using Motorola equipment. Where available, please propose AVL communication solutions that utilize radio, wireless and/or cellular communications. While location data should be continuous, other vehicle data can be retrieved daily once vehicles return to assigned municipal facility. Both on premise and cloud applications will be considered. Vendors are welcome to propose multiple options. 1. Provide information on application operating and device requirements for on premise, in vehicle and application viewing; i.e. Window, Android, iOS, desktop, mobile device. 2. Base requirements will be the capture of location data based on Dover’s unique vehicle identifier at a minimum interval rate of at least one data point per 30 seconds. Ability to set collection interval on a granular level, per vehicle if warranted. Please clarify minimum interval rate.
