Specifications include, but are not limited to: o Preside over fair hearings to determine the eligibility for and receipt/denial of public assistance benefits, pursuant to Titles 16 and 31 of the Delaware Code and federal law. o Preside over hearings to determine administrative disqualifications from public assistance benefits pursuant to Titles 16 and 31 of the Delaware Code and federal law. o Preside over hearings to confirm the overpayment of public assistance benefits, pursuant to Titles 16 and 31 of the Delaware Code and federal law. o Preside over hearings to determine penalties against Medicaid providers, both institutions and health care professionals, pursuant to Title 16 of the Delaware Code and federal law. o Preside over hearings for placement on the Adult Abuse Registry and the Certified Nurse Aide Registry, pursuant to Titles 11 and 16 of the Delaware Code and federal law. o Preside over hearings to impose civil monetary penalties, pursuant to Title 16 of the Delaware Code and federal law. o Preside over permit/licensure hearings pursuant to Title 16 of the Delaware Code and federal law.
