Specifications include, but are not limited to: Hitch to be of “power tilt” design. (Not to be mounted more than 20” in front of grille) The hitch shall tilt forward hydraulically to provide engine access. Two horizontal tubes shall extend outward to the passenger side of the chassis to serve as support for the front wing post. The front wing post shall be bolted to the hitch. The front wing post shall raise the nose of the wing a minimum of 36” by use of a direct hydraulic lift. Cable post is Unacceptable. There will be a 30-degree Rubber Timbren, adjustable, front trip block. This trip block will allow the wing to roll forward 8” and raise up 4”. The rear post shall be hydraulically adjustable. The rear post shall be properly braced and attached to the chassis frame rail. A steel support shall tie both chassis frame rails together with the rear post. The rear wing post shall have a three-point attachment for push arms and lift cylinder attachment. Push arms are adjustable in length to provide variable clearing paths. The bottom arm shall incorporate a compression spring to aid in protecting the wing components. A double acting lift cylinder shall be mounted between the arms to provide rear of wing lift. A 30-degree rubber Timbren hinge that allows the wing to roll forward four (4) inches and lift eight (8) inches, shall be mounted between the nose of the wing and the front post to attach the wing. All hitch and wing mount gear shall be sandblasted, epoxy primed, and painted black.
