Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families (DSCYF), Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services (DPBHS) is pleased to announce this Request for Proposals (RFP) to implement and deliver services under Promoting Safe and Stable Families (PSSF). The purpose of the funding is to enable states to develop, establish and or expand and operate coordinated programs of community-based family support services and family preservation services to accomplish the following objectives: (1) prevent child maltreatment among families at risk through the provision of supportive family services, and (2) ensure children’s safety within their home and preserve intact families in which children have been maltreated when the family’s problems can be addressed effectively. DPBHS plans to use the funding to support multiple services including Family Consultation, Fatherhood Priority Programming, and other Family Strengthening Activities. DPBHS is seeking bidders to provide services in one or more counties for the PSSF Program.
