The plans depict the construction of speed humps in two passes, the Department has obtained satisfactory results in constructing the speed hump through template ramps, which allow the placement of bituminous concrete in one pass. However, regardless of the method used, it shall be the responsibility of the contractor to produce satisfactory results in constructing the speed hump in accordance with the details shown on the Plan.
