Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Sign Panel. 1. The sign panel in accordance with 818.2.D. 2. The sign panel must encompass the entire Radar Speed Sign LED display face. B. Sign Sheeting. 1. The sign sheeting in accordance with 818.2.A. 2. Standard colors are white background with a black Legend. 3. Alternate colors shall be yellow background with a black Legend. 4. Standard Legend will be “YOUR SPEED.” 5. Alternate Legend may be “SPEED LIMIT,” “SLOW DOWN” or other similar Legend. 6. The font type shall be in accordance with the Delaware MUTCD. Legend shall be 4” character height for Type 1 and Type 2 signs and 6” for Type 3 and Type 4. C. RSS Enclosure: 1. Design and shape as to house all necessary control board circuitry, LED display modules, power, communications, and power control equipment. 2. Constructed of 12-gauge aluminum and meet NEMA 4x-12, IP65. 3. Ventilated. 4. Powder coated. a. Face: matte black. b. Body: gray. 5. Provide a hinged lid on the back of the enclosure of a size that provides full access to the internal components. The lid shall be secure by two key-locks. Keys shall be similar for all signs of a specified type.
