Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Protective Clothing & Operational Supplies Rental Services. Bids must address all of the services described in Exhibit A entitled, “Scope of Work” that is included in the Proposed Agreement Forms/Exhibits section of this IFB. Exhibit A contains a detailed description of the services and work to be performed, as a result of this IFB including those terms in the referenced exhibits. The CHP intends to make a single agreement award to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid. This IFB is open to all eligible firms and/or individuals that meet the qualification requirements. : The MVC 999 (a), known as the DVBE Program is established to address the special needs of disabled veterans seeking rehabilitation and training through entrepreneurship and to recognize the sacrifices of Californians disabled during military service. It is the intent of the Legislature that every state procurement authority honor California's disabled veterans by taking all practical actions necessary to meet or exceed the DVBE Program participation requirements (percentage/goal), hereafter referred to as DVBE participation, of at least the minimum of total contract value. (Refer to Section H, DVBE Program Definitions.)
