Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Installation ONLY of 8 Bollards at SHS. The Bollards will be provided by SBPS. • An on-site visit is required before any bid will be considered. Please call Jessica at 308-633-6255 to schedule an on-site visit. • Installation dates to be July 8 – July 19, 2024 • Tools needed will be: - Socket Wrench - ¾” Socket - Caulking Gun - Silicone RTV Sealant (Optional) • The winning bid will be responsible for creating the space for the footer. • Removal of existing concrete to install bollards per specs provided. • Pour concrete uniformly to match existing concrete. • Clean up debris from installation of bollards. • Repair any areas that may have damage due to installation (i.e. indentations in grass due to vehicles driving on it, agitated landscape, etc). NOTES: 1. Footings have been designed to bear on undisturbed soil or properly compacted engineered fill assuming a net bearing capacity of 3000 PSF. 2. Concrete work shall be done in accordance with the “building code requirements for reinforced concrete” (ACI 318) and the specifications for structural concrete (ACI 301) of the American Concrete Institute (Editions as required by governing code). 3. Cast-in-place concrete shall be normal weight concrete with a minimum 28-day compressive strength (F’C) of 5000 PSI UNO. 4. Provide 6% (+/-1.5%) air entrainment in concrete exposed to freeze/thaw.
